The iron ore fines sample was collected from the spiral classifier overflow of a typical Iron ore beneficiation plant of Noamundi, India. The sample was dried, thoroughly mixed and analysis indied that the dried sample contained 59.77% of total iron, 5.89% alumina and 4.71% silica with an LOI (Loss on Ignition) of 5.53%.
